Fountain Tire Acheson

ProtechGeo was contracted to provide all required geotechnical investigation(s), engineer recommendations, quality assurance materials testing, and engineering inspections for the construction of a Fountain Tire in Acheson by Remington Developments. Project specs included a 181,000-sq-foot single-story building with a warehouse, offices, truck bays, parking lots, and a roadway. The completed site had roughly 2.5 meters of fill placed and compacted for proper building elevation and site drainage; the structure was built on screw piles with a steel structure and a concrete slab-on-grade.

Labatt Breweries
Project Start Date: September 2019
Project Completion Date: March 2021
Labatt Breweries developed a 174,000-sq-foot expansion onto their existing industrial facility in Edmonton which included a warehouse, an Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) can line, a Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD), brewing area and tank rooms, and asphalt parking areas for industrial use. The expansion area was built on cast-in-place concrete bell piles with a steel structure and a concrete slab-on-grade.

Remington Developments developed a 112,000 sq-foot industrial building and gravel yard located in southwest Edmonton. The development included a single-story warehouse, offices, truck bays, parking lots, and a roadway. The building was built onto screw piles with a steel structure and a concrete slab-on-grade. ProtechGeo provided the required geotechnical investigations, engineer recommendations, quality assurance materials testing, and engineering inspections throughout construction.
